Last week, the #ExpertCares team visited Lesedi Day Care Centre, one of our long-standing initiatives.
Refilwe, the owner of the school reached out and we decided to assist the school with two De’longhi Heaters to keep the school warm during this winter season. The school consists of 2 main classrooms and the kiddies were very happy to receive a heater for each class.
When we were dropping off the heaters we noticed signage asking the children to make sure they paid the excursion fee so that they can go on a school excursion to the Johannesburg Zoo.
When speaking further with Refilwe we discovered that 8 children could not afford to go on the excursion and were very upset that they were going to be left behind whilst all their friends go on the trip.
We are able to sponsor all 8 children on their zoo trip and the smiles on their faces were magical. It really is the little things.
