At Expert Stores, we believe business should be a force for good. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Expert Cares, we’ve spent the first half of 2025 walking alongside organisations that work tirelessly to uplift the communities around us. From shelters and schools to youth programs and care centres, each contribution is part of a bigger picture—one where dignity, opportunity, and hope are shared freely.
Over the past six months, we’ve supported a wide range of community-focused initiatives, many of which offer critical services such as shelter, food, and daily care to families, women, children, and the elderly. Whether it’s helping a haven provide warm meals and accommodation or aiding a soup kitchen with food and bedding supplies, our goal is to be a reliable partner to those making an impact where it matters most.
Some of our ongoing partnerships focus on early childhood development and education—supporting daycares with learning materials, hygiene essentials, and safe spaces for growth. Others concentrate on digital access and social development, like helping community leaders provide Wi-Fi for students or run sports training programs that keep children engaged, mentored, and active.
We’re also proud to back organisations offering specialised care to individuals with disabilities and those providing refuge for expecting mothers and vulnerable women. Projects like the Bambino Drive earlier this year helped equip new moms with the essentials they need to care for their newborns—just one example of how a little support can go a long way.
As we move into the second half of the year, our focus continues with impactful seasonal initiatives for winter and Mandela Day and then we head towards the end of the year with our festive giving campaigns to bring joy and relief during the holidays.
These efforts wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated organisations we support—such as The Haven Care Centre, Soul Outreach, United Cerebral Palsy Association of SA, Emntsaleni Junior Tennis, Wings of Inspiration, Lesedi Day Care, and others—who remain on the frontlines of community care every day.
